Welcome!

Twenty-two year's old, but feeling way older, I'm eager to begin my career as a Graphic Designer. I tend to be a very private person, but cheers to all you students out there. Let's get through the years, yeah?

Originally from Guatemala, Maria was brought
to the states at the age of 5. She grew up
loving Art, but started majoring in Psychology
upon graduating High School. She was often
told that being an artist was never going to
put food on the table, and that she should go
with a more ‘practical’ degree. That’s when
she turned her interest to computers since
Psychology could no longer hold her interest.
When the University of New Haven became
too expensive, she transferred to Norwalk
Community College. NCC gave her the
opportunity to merge both her passions
of art and technology. Now double majoring
in Graphic Design and
Web Design, she plans
on remaining
local after graduating next semester
and
transferring to Western Connecticut State

University. NCC also pointed her towards her
current position at Picture That LLC, a company
stationed in Stamford that sells art and curates
Art Exhibitions for companies like GE and UBS.

Her hobbies include reading, drawing, walking,
and occasionally online gaming. She also loves
animals (has 4 dogs, a cat, & 3 lizards) and trying new
foods.  Maria has also started using ink for the first
time in artwork and loves every minute of it!

The above banner above was made specifically for my digitation.
I love patterns, and a simple color palette. The flower is a heavily
saturated clipping from a photograph I took a few summers ago.
